Avnet, one of Arizona's largest employers and a Fortune 50 corporation, has been running the Avnet Tech Games for several years. Students compete in a variety of technically challenging "games" such as building robots, solar-powered devices, high-speed computers, even making marketing pitches and designing factory floors.

AAEE is the state branch of the National Association for Environmental Education. Rather than being satisfied with the national association’s turnkey website template, AAEE worked with Z-Com Creative to develop an entirely custom user experience.

The Animal Defense League of Arizona and Z-Com Creative are long-time friends. We love their mission and have had a close relationship with its leadership for many years. What better candidate for our proof-of-concept of our Association in a Box product?

We felt ADLA had a lot of needs common to nonprofits: a communication and organizational hub for an active membership, social media tools, a resource directory, and basically a need to work with a diverse population of users.

Nature Quest Arizona provides a database of “nature quests,” educational treasure-hunts featuring map-following games and learning opportunities. Nature Quest Arizona is a subsidiary of Be Outdoors Arizona (another Z-Com Creative nonprofit site), and is that organization’s first tangible deliverable.

Be Outdoors Arizona is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting kids into the outdoors. It is closely affiliated with the Children and Nature Network.  The goal of this website was to create a quick and easy website presence from which we can build into the future.

The SMPS website is a robust custom website solution for a trade association. Working within a very narrow budget, Z-Com Creative built a site featuring news, event registration, easy navigation and a job bank bulletin board for members. The landing page features a random slideshow of photos taken at SMPS events over the years.

SMPSArizona.org is built on a custom CMS solution and is entirely run by volunteers.

Tempe Preparatory Academy is a charter college prep school. Their goal was to have a forward-facing online strategy, with community (teacher and student) generated content driving most of the site. Z-Com Creative developed a robust social-media style site for TPA, which ran with limited success for about a year. We learned a lot about working with nonprofits and volunteers through this project.
