Intraoperative Monitoring Services

We're very pleased with the level of professionalism and creative capabilities presented by the team at Z-com Creative.  Led by Paul Beakley, they seemed to quickly grasp the complexity of our specialized needs and went to work straight away to resolve our many challenges.  We were impressed with Paul's organizational skills and attention to detail.  Paul was able to communicate through the process in a manner that was easily understood by our technology challenged staff.  Z-com Creative exceeded our expectations and surpassed our objectives.  I would highly recommend Paul to anyone in need of website development services.

Intraoperative Monitoring Services Inc.

Intraoperative Monitoring Services (IMS) sends technicians into neural surgery suites all over the Valley to monitor and report back on data generated during surgery. They needed a secure solution for gathering patient and case data in the field. We did that, and much more.

We started by learning all we could about IMS' business at every level: How cases are scheduled, how technicians use their technology, how their reading physicians review the materials from the case, how billing takes place. Once we had a firm grasp of their company's operation, we built a comprehensive intranet solution that handles every step of their workflow.

The IMS website allows surgery schedulers to log in and submit requests for service, technicians to work through a complex set of document uploads associated with each neurosurgery case, alerts reading physicians to new cases as they are completed, and manages every document for every case as it passes through billing and ultimate archiving.

There are lots of great little tricks built into the site as well: Surgery schedulers can review the complete archive of closed cases for any of their clients, technicians can make updates via smartphone, technicians can make notes about hospitals where they work, the site "learns" diagnoses and insurance providers as the employees use the service, and the back office can conduct extensive data mining operations on their aggregated case data.

Because of the sensitive nature of IMS' business, we can't show details of the site.
