Be Outdoors Arizona is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting kids into the outdoors. It is closely affiliated with the Children and Nature Network.  The goal of this website was to create a quick and easy website presence from which we can build into the future.

Phase 1 of beoutdoorsarizona.org is predominantly a membership-generation site. There is extensive information about the organization, as well as registration forms and simple Paypal links to send in membership information. We track membership conversions via Google Analytics. Users can also register at the website without being a member, allowing them to comment on news items as they’re posted.

Phase 2 will feature an extensive database of outdoor education and activity opportunities available to the general public, with all content community-moderated (with “this content is inappropriate” buttons available to any user), ranked and commented. Nature Quest Arizona, an affiliate site of BOA, is in fact our proof-of-concept for this service.
